  The 2010 Season was another great year for the orchestra.  Subscriptions sales saw an all-time high; the orchestra enjoyed record-setting concert attendance; and we have pledges and gifts slightly less than $800,000 towards a $1 million challenge gift.

Chair/Musician Sponsorship and Endowments

Our orchestra musicians are the heart and soul of the ACO- their incomparable artistry is the very essence of the ACO “sound” that audiences thrill to each and every concert season.

The costs of presenting only the finest musicians is considerable- financially, by far the largest portion of our budget is made up of the payroll for our orchestra members.

We now are offering our patrons a special opportunity- the ability to directly help to defray the expenses of the musicians who make possible the beautiful music we all enjoy.

By sponsoring a musician’s chair for one season, or endowing it in perpetuity, you have the chance to truly make a difference by directly supporting the appearance of your chosen musician. Sponsors will be prominently acknowledged in the annual program booklet, on our website, and will have the opportunity to meet and get to know personally the musician whom you are sponsoring and endowing.

Endowing or sponsoring a musician’s chair is a perfect way to honor the memory of a special person by assisting the ACO in providing much-needed financial support and allowing us to continue present great music to our community.
