Mother singing to me as an infant. She had a great voice and always sang.
3. Your education? Where did you attend college, primary teachers?
Juilliard Graduate Artist Diploma. Studied with Persinger, Bronstein, Spivakovsky, Shumsky.
4. Why did you choose your instrument?
I didn't... my Mom did. Here! Play!
5. When did you know you wanted to be a professional musician?
Immediately!!!
6. Who were/are your most important musical influences?
I have played with every premier performer and conductor in this century. Some I loved, some I hated, but from all I learned about music and I am blessed!
7. Most inspiring composers?
Mozart, Beethoven.
8. What would you be if not a musician?
Secretary of State!
9. Your favorite thing about playing in the ACO?
The sharing of the passion of music making!
10. With what other ensembles do you perform/where do you teach?
I play with whomever asks me. I teach private lessons.
11. What is in your CD player right now?
Beethoven Sonatas for Violin and Piano, Fritz Kreisler performing.
